Ode to Indigo describes my found love of the relationship between clothes and its wearer. After reading In Praise of Shadows by Jun’ Jun'ichiro Tanizaki, my research turned to Japanese indigo, Edo period farmers, their uniforms, aswell as wabi sabi philosophy. Ode to Indigo physically displays my relationship and appreciation with this way of being, as it catapulted me into fashion philosophy I have today.
